"That's a great place to go, but man, do they push there Life Insurance? A lot over there always asking, do you want life insurance? After every visit, okay, not every visit but every other visit."

"Absolutely screwed me. I had no understanding on how home insurance worked and they completely took advantage of me. I bought my first house at 23 about 4 years ago, single mom with a newborn baby at the time. 4 months into my home, there was a wind storm that ripped off the shingles on my roof and broke a window. When the claims person came and evaluated it, she told me i had to file 2 separate claims and if i didnt, that they would drop me for my roof being damaged. i filed the claims, and they dropped me anyways for too many claims 🙄 i had no idea i could have asked them to file it as 1 claim.
Now, 4 years later, my daughter has been diagnosed with a life long condition that has required us to move to be closer to resources for her, but we have been denied every single insurance agency because of those past claims. Since i have had to contact so many insurance companies for help, a few nice agents who had to still deny me, actually took the time to explain things to me and how its becoming a problem cor many people. And now i just feel absolutely disgusted with how statefarm had taken advantage of me.
Almost feels like they dont want private homeowners anymore 🤨"

"I took out 5 policies, 2 residences, 3 auto an a couple of others. After being charged $3000 one of the residences was denied coverage. Wanting all of my policies in one place I requested they all be canceled, none had gone into affect. I was okay with canceling and getting a refund. Then I was told it would take 10 days to get a check in the mail, rather than crediting my card. The representative that I was dealing with couldn't help. I emailed Trudy, she didn't respond. A word of warning if you're going to deal with this agency. NEVER, pay for a policy until it has been approved by underwriting, and be really cautious here. I have filed a complaint with the BBB hopefully they can get some traction. It's been 2 weeks and they still have half of my money. All you get is I'm sorry. Well sorry doesn't pay my bills. This us the worst place I have ever seen to do business."
